About Me

Hello! My name is Dawn Adams and I am a Personal Travel Advisor. My home office is based in Poole, Dorset and I have been associated with Personal Travel Advisors since 2001. I love working from home not only because it is so convenient, but also it means I can be available for my clients at a time that suits them.

My Travel Experience

I have worked for a variety of travel companies from being an Air Stewardess to owning my own agency, and now running my business from home. I keep my knowledge up to date by attending destination training sessions both in the UK and overseas, checking out resorts and hotels. I simply love anything to do with travel, whether it is finding the best holiday for my clients or holidaying myself. One of my most memorable experiences must be climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge, the most enduring trekking in the Himalayas and the most romantic getting married in St Lucia. I have lots of first hand knowledge having visited New Zealand, North and South America, Canada, many Caribbean Islands, the Far East including Borneo, Indian Ocean Islands, India, the Middle East, Africa and lots of places in Europe. I am also a huge fan of cruising and am lucky to have been on several cruises.
